Lithoz hits another record year with printer sales consistently rising by a strong 30%

  • Lithoz GmbH has confirmed 2023 as another record year of growth for their LCM ceramic 3D printing systems
  • The world leader in ceramic 3D printing has achieved a 30% increase in printers sold and almost doubled their material production from 2022
  • Serial production as a major contributor to Lithoz growth: majority of printers sold to partners with multiple Lithoz machines in operation
  • ‘All from one source’: customers increasingly make use of receiving various technical solutions for ceramic 3D printing from one hand, making the “Ceramic AM Factory” by Lithoz an industrial reality

3rd January 2024: Vienna, Austria. Lithoz GmbH has announced 2023 as being another record year of growth. The company has confirmed a 30% increase in 3D printers sold in 2023 when compared to last year, while material production has almost doubled.

After having reaffirmed its position as the world and market leader earlier this year, this achievement in sales signifies Lithoz’s strong and ongoing growth. A major theme for the company this year has been the launch of the ‘Ceramic AM Factory’, using Lithoz Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing (LCM) 3D printers for industrial mass production. With a majority of machines this year having been sold to partners with multiple Lithoz printers, serial production has been a clear contributor towards Lithoz’s results in 2023.

‘By establishing these interconnected machine parks, Lithoz is driving the growth of serial production in ceramic 3D printing,’ said Dr. Johannes Homa, Lithoz CEO. ‘We’re working consistently with our customers to scale up to mass production. With one of our partners now producing well over one million parts per year, it’s fantastic to see all the effort paying off!’

Alongside serial production, Lithoz has focused on developing an ‘all from one source’ portfolio of ceramic 3D printing solutions. This approach has seen success from all sides this year, with investments into Laser-Induced Slipcasting technology, LSD-Print and multi-material manufacturing via AMAREA Technology.

In 2024, Lithoz will set its sights on supporting the growth of ceramic 3D printing by increasing the number and strength of service bureaus worldwide. By establishing machine parks and broadening its offering of ceramic 3D-printed solutions, Lithoz will advance the Ceramic AM Factory for serial mass production and drive forward innovation in industrial applications.
